Criminology is the scientific study of crime and criminals. You will study the psychological and sociological theories of crime as well as how crime is perceived in society and the impact of the media and crime statistics. By understanding why crimes are committed, we can develop ways to control crime or rehabilitate the criminal. You will develop skills to research policies in practice, assess campaign for change and examine information to resolve criminal cases.

What you need to get on

You will require a minimum of 5 GCSE's at grades 4-9 including Maths and English.
