What the college says

The Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy builds on the fundamental skills learned in Level 2 Beauty Therapy to qualify as a professional beauty therapist. You will learn more complex treatments such as massage, body and facial electrical treatments and epilation and gain confidence in performing more advanced techniques. We will also teach you how to prepare for entering the industry, including looking at interviews and trade tests. On successful completion of this course you will be fully qualified to work as a beauty therapist in a salon, spa, health club, hotel or even on a cruise ship. Practical learning takes place in LCBT's own salon, where you will have the opportunity to practice your skills with real clients. We will provide you with a uniform to wear whilst you are at college. You will need to purchase the beauty kit to practice treatments for a small fee.

Entry Requirements Aged 16-18 Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Proficient in English reading, writing, listening and speaking If you have not achieved a minimum grade 4 in GCSE English and/or Maths, you will need to complete Functional Skills or the relevant GCSEs alongside your studies. This will be embedded into your course and is a mandatory government requirement. Overseas Applicants Evidence of your legal right to study in the UK will be required.
