This apprenticeship programme is designed for those looking to join the children and young people's workforce and also those already working in the sector either on their own or supervising others, for example, as a Residential Care Worker or Short - break Carer. This apprenticeship consists of learning and qualifications necessary to provide children and young people’s workforce apprentices with the skills and knowledge they need to become competent in their chosen job and improve their employment prospects. The programmes aim to develop an individual’s confidence in their abilities by developing work - related knowledge, skills and understanding.
