What the college says

You will develop a range of practical skills and theoretical knowledge relevant to public services, including teamwork, citizenship, law, criminology, discipline and politics. Assessment of progress and achievement of the Level 3 qualification is made via course work. This course has an industry focus delivered by staff with recent industry experience.

What you need to get on

You must be aged 16-18 and have 5 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above, including English and Maths. Alternatively, at least a Merit in a BTEC or OCR First Diploma or equivalent is required. You should show a genuine interest in the study of public services, be disciplined and committed to working hard.

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
