What the college says

The ILM Level 3 Certificate in Effective Coaching and Mentoring is a nationally recognised qualification. It is particularly useful if you are involved in coaching and mentoring staff at your workplace. Perhaps you are in a supervisory or line management role or are looking to be so and would like a formal qualification. You will look at a range of approaches, models, tools and techniques that will help you to develop in others the skills, knowledge and understanding they need to be effective in their workplace. The course is delivered through a mixture of in college and online learning. There are face to face sessions at St Albans Campus on Wednesdays 12.30-16.00 in weeks 1,2,3,6,11,15. You will also have remote 1 to 1 tutorials from weeks 7 to 14. You may also need to attend Oaklands for a tutorial supervision of your coaching practice with your tutor. There is currently no government funding for the course. However, you may be able to pay the 724 fee in three instalments. You would also expect to spend around 60 on books if they are new.
