What the college says
The BTEC National Extended Certificate in Sport provides you with an understanding of the essential skills needed when looking to build a career in the sports sector. The two year qualification will give you an insight into the various different occupational routes you can take within the sector and help you to progress in existing employment or move on to further study. The course consists of four modules, three of which are compulsory units which you will study across the two years.
What you need to get on
4 GCSEs minimum grade 4 or a Merit in Level 2 BTEC Diploma in PE. A grade 4 GCSE English Language or GCSE English Literature and Mathematics is recommended.
