You would be suitable for this course if you have an interest in sport. Students who select this option are often interested in pursuing career opportunities in the sport and leisure field. Students on this course who have completed GCSE PE or BTEC Level 2 will benefit from achieving a grade 6 or Merit on the theory component.This course combines well with many subjects particularly the Sciences and aspects of the Humanities programme. Students will have the opportunity to take coaching certificates/awards in their chosen sports.
What you need to get on
A minimum of 5 subjects at Grade 4 or above, including at least one of GCSE English Language and GCSE Mathematics. A minimum of 5 grade 4’s including English Language/Literature and Mathematics

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
