What the college says

BTECs are widely recognised by industry and higher education as the vocational alternative to A Levels. We offer two options – the Extended Certificate (equivalent to one A Level) or the Diploma (equivalent to two A Levels). The content reflects the demands of employers and universities and has a mixture of internal and external assessment. Assessment is through coursework, controlled assessments and a written exam. There is also a requirement for students to participate in practical activities such as helping to organise an event and taking part in mock interviews for recruitment.
