This course builds on your Level 2 skills and prepares you for a career as an advanced bricklayer. It is based on the Level 3 Diploma in Bricklaying (Qualification Aim: 61062108). You will develop advanced practical skills and in-depth knowledge required to carry out complex brickwork tasks to industry standards. Units covered include: * Health and safety in construction * Advanced bricklaying techniques * Decorative and complex masonry work * Structural and reinforced masonry * Setting out complex structures * Repair and maintenance of brickwork Training takes place in industry-standard workshops and classrooms, combining practical work with theory sessions.
What you need to get on
* Level 2 Brickwork qualification * GCSE English and maths at grade 4 or above (preferred) You will be interviewed for this course and should demonstrate commitment to working in the construction industry.
