This two-year course is designed for those students who are highly creative and enjoy producing art and design work. The course explores a range of new, traditional and creative ways of using materials, techniques and processes, some of which you may have never experienced before. Over the course of two years you will work in painting, drawing, life drawing, print, design development, sculpture, digital processes as well as contextual studies. There is also the opportunity to explore design disciplines. Our Art & Design course is delivered by highly skilled practitioners. This is a course that excels in high standards in every aspect. Following successful completion of this 2-year course you will receive a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art & Design, worth up to 168 UCAS points and the equivalent of 3 A Levels. The course is also recognised by employers and apprenticeship schemes.

What you need to get on

You are required to have 4 GCSEs grade 9 to 4 including maths and/or English. A previous art and design GCSE at grade 4 or above (or similar and/or a passion and interest in the subject). Successful interview with an art tutor. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good drawing skills are a bonus.
