Are you passionate about animal care, behaviour and welfare? Would you love to gain hands-on experience with a wide variety of domestic and exotic species? Gain the skills you need to turn your passion for animals into a rewarding career by studying one of our highly popular Animal Management courses! You’ll be based at our fantastic purpose-built animal centre, home to our licensed teaching zoo and laboratories – facilities which are among the best in the UK. Here you will have the chance to work with around 200 species including meerkats, lemurs, otters, birds of prey, reptiles, fish, amphibians and a range of companion and park animals. Your classroom lectures will come to life as you carry out practical sessions with the animals in our collection, and you’ll have the opportunity to visit some of the UK’s leading zoos and wildlife parks. Whatever your interests, you’ll be encouraged to gain as many experiences as possible, so you’re ready to progress onto degree level study or onto a wide range of exciting and rewarding career opportunities.
