You would be suitable for this course if you enjoy communicating in another language and expressing your views on a variety of topics, for example cyber-society, French music and cinema. You need to be willing to speak in the target language, to participate actively in group work and to immerse yourself in French culture. You will be encouraged to take part in a work experience placement in France. This course combines well with all other subjects and is highly valued by universities and the business world.
What you need to get on
A minimum of 5 subjects at Grade 4 or above, including at least one of GCSE English Language and GCSE Mathematics. A minimum of a grade 6 in GCSE French
