It?s no surprise that Psychology graduates are highly employable as this subject?s focus on human behaviour makes successful students very flexible in the jobs market.If you?re fascinated by the human mind and why we behave the way we do, then Psychology will have you gripped.Psychology is considered a science and so you?ll be using your maths skills as well as your talent for English as we explore core elements of our subject.What we?ll studyThis A Level Psychology course gives our students a fantastic insight into human behaviours and thought processes, within a scientific, researched-based approach.With the guidance of the outstanding teachers in our Psychology department and through the study of topics such as schizophrenia, addiction, research methods and social influence, you will develop a thorough appreciation of the complexity of human behaviour.You will improve your key strengths of analysis and evaluation alongside your confidence working within a scientific context.There are also enrichment opportunities during this course. In past years we have taken students on a number of visits, including trips to the Freud and Science museums as well as meeting experts from the famous London Sleep Clinic.

What you need to get on

General College entry requirements.If students have studied GCSE Psychology, they must have achieved at least a grade 4 to progress onto the A Level course.GCSE English ?grade 4 or above.GCSE Maths ?grade 4 or above.GCSE Science. We accept any science subject with a pass that is equivalent to a GCSE grade 4 or above.You do not need to have studied Psychology before.
