Never has there been a time in history when Geography was more relevant to the world around us. Climate change, environmental hazards, migration - they are all critical in the times we live in and the rapidly changing world around us. What more relevant subject could you study? If you’re interested in geography already then you’ll know there’s more than one aspect to our wide-ranging subject, which is greatly valued by both employers and universities. This A Level course covers many of them, so you’ll be studying elements you are likely to revisit if you take your studies to a higher level. You’ll also learn and use a variety of transferable skills that will be in great demand when you leave college.

General College entry requirements. Grade 4 or above in GCSE Geography, if taken. Grade 4 in GCSE English.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
