Not only are they a key part of business, industry, government and education but they?re now central to our leisure lives and homes.In this increasingly technological age, the study of computer science, and particularly how computers are used in the solution of a variety of problems, is not only valuable to the learner but essential to the future wellbeing of the country.What we?ll studyComputer Science demands both logical discipline and imaginative creativity in the selection and design of algorithms and the writing, testing and debugging of programs.It relies on an understanding of the rules of language at a fundamental level and encourages an awareness of the management and organisation of computer systems. For the programming part of the course we use Visual Basic.net.Our course has both a theory and a practical element, this will allow you to apply the academic principles learned in the classroom to real world systems in an exciting and engaging manner.
