What the college says
This qualification is aimed at those who are currently employed within the floorcovering industry, but who require a formal NVQ qualification for CSCS application. All mandatory units, plus at least one of the following optional units - Textile, Impervious or wood floorcovering. This is a work-based qualification and is assessed mainly during observations in the workplace, although additional evidence may be submitted, with the agreement of the assessor. It also forms the Main Aim in the Construction Specialist Route 519. Intermediate Apprenticeship in Floorcovering Occupations.
