This one year Level 2 course is ideal if you wish to develop the skills to work in the digital industry. It gives learners the opportunity to gain a broad knowledge and understanding of the digital technology and creative industries.
What you need to get on
Students will be considered depending upon experience, qualifications and an interview. You will need 4 GCSE's at Grade 3 or above including English and Maths or Functional Skills equivalent in English and Maths or a full Level 1 diploma in a related subject. You will also need a desire and passion to learn, work hard and have a genuine interest in progressing onto a career in Digital and computing which will be demonstrated at interview.
How you are assessed
One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
