Do you have a keen interest in the beauty and make up industry and want to learn more? Are you enthusiastic, motivated and enjoy working closely with others? We offer a full time Level 2 qualification for aspiring beauty therapists and make-up artists. The course will teach you anatomy and physiology, health and safety, client care and communication skills as well as linking retail opportunities into your treatments. The practical treatments we cover: Facial skincare Manicures and pedicures Eye treatments – to include lash and brow tinting, brow shaping and lash lifting Waxing Make-up application There will also be an opportunity to learn treatments through enrichment activities such as tanning and gel.

What you need to get on

Entry will depend on a successful interview and 3 GCSE’s at grade 3 (D) to include Maths and English. A grade 3 is science is also preferable, though not essential. Or a completed Level 1 Diploma in Beauty Therapy In

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
