This course helps you learn practical skills needed for getting a job in welding or studying further. You'll learn how to cut, shape, weld, and put together materials. You'll take this course at Castleford College, which has specialised engineering workshops. The campus has great welding equipment in professional workshops. During the course, you'll develop your skills in different areas like TIG welding, MIG welding, metal forming, engineering drawing, staying safe at work, and communication. As part of the program, you'll get to meet local employers through visits, talks, and practice interviews.
