The Level 2 in Outdoor Education is a hands-on course which will equip students with the confidence and knowledge to assist in leading outdoor adventurous activities. This qualification is ideal for learners who are interested in pursuing a career in the sport or outdoor education industry. The course is delivered by experienced Lecturers in sports and outdoor education. The units are taught via a multitude of engaging and exciting methods including, role plays, guest speakers, trips and expedition alongside traditional lectures and interactive online learning. What you need to get on

Four GCSEs at grade 3 or above including English and maths or a Level 1 Diploma in Sport at a Merit/Distinction grade with GCSE English or maths at grade 3 or above will also be considered.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
