What the college says
Learners will develop knowledge and understanding of the different types of medication and what they are used for. How to store and dispose of medicines in a safe way, how to administer medicines safely and how to ensure that record keeping and audits are completed correctly. The learner will access learning resources from the Equal platform which will provide the knowledge and understanding to complete the written assessments. Tutor one to one teaching and coaching will be provided to support the learner to complete the course
What you need to get on
The learner will need to have access to a device such as a laptop or tablet and access to the internet to access the Equal platform and join face to face session with the tutor which are completed remotely on zoom.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
