This qualification equips multilingual learners with the language skills and knowledge needed to progress to Level 3 and higher training in community interpreting.In the same manner as the Level 1 Award in Understanding Community Interpreting, this qualification does not serve as a professional interpreter training program. Those seeking paid employment in the field are encouraged to pursue training at Level 3 or higher.

What you need to get on

To satisfy entry requirements for this qualification, you will need complete an initial assessment which includes tasks to assess your English language skills (Level 2 or above) and your current knowledge of the role of a community interpreter in the UK.</SPA
