This course is ideal for adults aged 19 and have career aspirations to work in accounting, auditing and related areas of accounting. With a practical approach to accounting, you will gain the skills and knowledge to progress onto a level 3 course or an entry-level role in the industry.
What you need to get on
To enrol onto this course you will need four GCSEs at Grade 4 (C) or above including English and maths are required for this course. You will also need to provide one reference which can be provided by your employer or previous education establishment. It is desirable that you can demonstrate 90% attendance. Consideration will be given to all applicants over the age of 19, who do not hold formal English and maths qualifications.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
