Greater Manchester residents only. This qualification will be suitable for teaching staff, care staff or anyone looking to build their knowledge of dyslexia/ADHD/autism and other learning difficulties, how they are diagnosed and how individuals can be supported. This course is delivered online over 12 sessions – dates and times to be confirmed by your Tutor on the first session. You will be expected to attend live Teams/Zoom sessions and complete activities on Moodle which is Oldham Lifelong Learning’s virtual learning platform and E-assessor. You will be required to work to specified deadlines.

What you need to get on

You will need to demonstrate English skills at a Level 2 standard to meet the demands of this course and the distance learning elements. You will need good ICT Skills, access to a good internet connection, access to Teams/Zoom (which can easily be downloaded onto your device), an eleCENTREonic tablet, PC, or laptop

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
