This full-time study programme provides learners with the practical skills and knowledge to start a career as a bricklayer in the construction industry. The course follows the City & Guilds Level 2 Extended Technical Occupational Entry in Bricklaying (Diploma), which is aligned with the Bricklayer Occupational Standard (ST0095). You will study six core units: Health and safety in a construction environment Principles of welfare, health and safety in construction Principles of working in the construction industry Setting out buildings Building solid walls and piers Building cavity walls The course is taught through a mix of theory and practical sessions in industry-standard workshops. You will take part in practical assignments and multiple-choice online examinations, all of which must be passed to achieve the qualification. The course is assessed through a combination of online multiple-choice exams and internally marked practical assignments.

� 4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above � Level 1 Brickwork qualification You will be interviewed for this course and should show an interest in practical construction work, classroom studies and a willingness to follow strict health and safety protocols.
