What the college says
The course aim is to provide you with the knowledge and skills to carry out beauty therapy services to a professional standard. Theory will be delivered alongside practical training and will cover the anatomy and physiology of the skin, nail, blood and lymph supply as well as bones and muscles.We have two, brand new state of the art salons which includes all up to date and industry standard equipment and facilities to take your learning to the next level.
What you need to get on
An interest in the subject area is essential as well as a good level of English. If English is not your first language you will need to be at a minimum of ESOL level 1.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
