The course has been designed to provide learners with the essential skills in how to use Computer Aided Design software. The Core Component: The learner will study how engineering objects are designed in 2D CAD allowing the learner to develop and practise the skills required for employment in the broad engineering and Manufacturing sector.

How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
