This VRQ includes the full range of routine vehicle auto electrical procedures. It provides essential knowledge and skills for vehicle fitters working on a wide range of vehicles in all types of garages, dealerships and fast fit businesses. This qualification forms the knowledge component of the IMI Sector Skill Council’s Auto Electrical and Mobile Electrical Installation Apprenticeship framework. When an apprentice has achieved a L2 Apprenticeship they can then choose to broaden their education and training in other ways from this firm base. This learning programme is based upon IMI SSC’s National Occupational Standards for Auto Electrical and Mobile Electrical Installation.
