This course is designed for students with a genuine passion for photography and visual storytelling who are eager to develop their creative practice into future opportunities. It offers the chance to refine practical photographic skills, build confidence, and explore a range of photographic techniques while working towards a recognised UAL qualification.
What you need to get on
4 GCSEs Grade 3 incl. Art/Photography & portfolio showing ability to draw/develop ideas. This can include GCSE Art & work from home (if not taking GCSE Art - 4 GCSEs at 3 plus a portfolio as above). The level of course will be based on the quality of artwork.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
