Level 1 Teaching Assistants (STL) is a course perfect for you, if you are interested in pursuing a career as a Teaching Assistant. This course will introduce you to the skills and knowledge needed when supporting teaching and learning in primary or secondary schools. The course is shorter in duration (12 weeks), is aimed at adult learners and is college based. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress on to level 2 Teaching Assistants on completion of this course. The course is comprised of 3 internal units and is assessed through coursework.

None. This course is aimed at adult (19+) learners who do not currently have the necessary skills and knowledge required to engage in a work experience course.
