What the college says
This course will enable you to develop your knowledge and understanding of a broad range of Employability Skills, Study Skills, whilst you continue to improve your Maths and English Functional skills. In addition, the course will also give you an introduction into working in the Health and Social Care Sector.
What you need to get on
IIdeally some work experience in a health and social care setting, but this is not essential. No formal qualifications are needed, ESOL learners are welcome. You must however, demonstrate enthusiasm and a commitment to the course.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
What this level means
A first step that builds towards Level 2.
