RRC works directly with the Department for Education and Kent County Council to offer an independent and specialist Study Programme for 16 – 18 year olds (or 19 – 25 if they have an Education, Health & Care Plan, known as an EHCP). Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, the course has been designed especially for young people who may have found that mainstream schooling did not meet their needs or who have been unable to engage with school life for a whole variety of reasons.

What you need to get on

There are no specific entry requirements except a commitment to attendance, adherence to the behaviour contract and a keenness to make progress with their studies, work readiness and personal development. All interested students will be subject to an interview as part of the admissions process. This is to check that we are a good fit for the student's needs and that they are a good fit for us.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
