This course provides learners with a broad range of knowledge, understanding and skills training to become qualified within site carpentry. The main focus of the level 1 carpentry and joinery course is to develop practical hand skills and enhance basic underpinning knowledge of relevant industrial processes and techniques. These will be delivered in a workshop environment for practical sessions and classroom based for theory sessions such as technical drawing and I. L. T. Also Incorporated into the study programme will be functional skills (maths & English), tutorial, work experience, academic tutorial and relevant trips & guest visits.
