This is an exciting course for you if you would like a career working within the Health, Social Care and Young People organisations. This study programme will help you decide which career choice is the right one for you. Working within Health and Social Care, or Young People's organisations offers you an extremely varied and rewarding career. Upon successful completion of your course you will gain a level 1 qualification in Health and Social Care and Children and Young People, which is awarded by CACHE, one of the most recognised awarding bodies in the UK. During your course you will be able to undertake work placements, which will be set up for you and located near to your home town. Work placements will really boost your CV. Possible careers you can work towards include Early Years Practitioner, working within a Nursery or Primary School, Social Worker and Support worker within a children's residential home.
What you need to get on
You will need to have 4 GCSEs at Grades 1 and 2 including English Language and Maths, or completion of an Entry level course
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A first step that builds towards Level 2.
