This course provides an introduction into early years where learners can build on their understanding of working with children and families in the early years sector. You will get the opportunity to plan play sessions and implement them in our interactive nursery environment where the BSDC nursery children will play an active role in participating with the planned activities. You will also have the opportunity to go into a vocational setting to complete 37 hours of work experience.
What you need to get on
Applicants will be expected to have achieved a minimum of 2 GCSEs at grade 2 Have successfully completed BSDC’s Advance to Vocational Study programme
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A first step that builds towards Level 2.
