What the college says

The course is aimed at Staffordshire residents aged 19+ who live in a Staffordshire but not a Stoke-on-Trent postcode. Our course aims to develop transferable crafting skills that parents, guardians or other family members can develop and then share with their family. Practical skills learnt will encourage learners to share those experiences with the wider family, promoting a sense of familiy progression and enjoyment. Where learners may have children the course will inspire them to share practical times creating a range of items with them and away from the everyday attraction to screen time activities. Some learners may wish to support local and national organisations in making sellable items for good causes for those in need. Please check the website for the next available course delivery date.

What you need to get on

No prior knowledge or experience is required but an interest in crafting and creativity would be an advantage. Potential learners must be willing to commit to all course sessions and be willing to work towards learning aims and complete a learner journal. Learning support is available throughout your course if required.

How you are assessed

Short courses, awards and certificates that do not fit the main routes.
