This course is for learners who are interested in nature, the environment and making a positive contribution to their local community. Through hands-on projects and community-based activities, you will develop new skills, knowledge and confidence while exploring the natural world. You will learn about local wildlife, plants, habitats and environmental sustainability, as well as practical ways to support and improve green spaces within your community.

What you need to get on

This course is for residents aged 19 and over living in Staffordshire, excluding Stoke-on-Trent. No prior knowledge or experience is required, but an interest in the countryside, animals, and nature is beneficial. Learners must be willing to attend all sessions, work towards learning goals, and complete a learner journal. Commitment to practical, nature-based activities in the community is essential. Learning support is available throughout the course to help you succeed.
