What the college says
This course will give you the knowledge and expertise to work in the computing industry. It covers various aspects of IT and computing, but specific units such as website production and games programming will depend on the College centre where you choose to study. If you wish to continue with your studies either part time or full time at Degree level you will need to do a second year to gain an IT Extended Diploma.
What you need to get on
5 GCSEs at grade C or above which must include English and/or Maths or equivalent (L2 Functional Skills), a Higher Diploma (which is equivalent to 7 GCSEs at grade A*-C), NVQ 2 or Level 2 Diploma at merit grade with ideally GCSE English and Maths at minimum Grade C or equivalent (L2 Functional Skills).
