This course combines practical and theoretical work and will give you the knowledge and expertise to work in the computing and IT industry. If you wish to carry on with your studies at a higher level you will need to do a second year to gain an 120 Credit Diploma.

What you need to get on

5 GCSEs at grade C or above which must include at least English or Maths or equivalent (L2 Functional Skills), a Higher Diploma (which is equivalent to 7 GCSEs at grade A*-C), NVQ 2 or Level 2 Diploma at merit grade with ideally GCSE English and Maths at minimum Grade C or equivalent (L2 Functional Skills).----5 GCSE passes at grade C or above including Maths and English--Or a BTEC Level 2 Diploma in IT achieved with a Distinction--Or a BTEC Level 2 Certificate achieved with a Merit alongside 3 GCSE passes at grade C or above including Maths and English--
