This course runs from St Margaret�s Campus every Tuesday, 1 pm - 3:30 pm for 9 weeks, from 4 February to 8 April 2025. This course introduces the skills needed to make or alter garments. It is a short course, and you focus on one project that follows a simple pattern chosen by the tutor.
What you need to get on
This course is designed as an introduction to�garment�making�skills and is suitable for students who have not yet completed a�garment�making�course. You need to have completed the Introduction to Sewing Skills course or have some existing experience in using a sewing machine. You must be aged 19+ and be able to complete a short workbook on a weekly basis with the help of your tutor.
