What the college says
This course is perfect if you would like to further your study in Fashion and Textiles. It is ideal if you maybe lack some confidence or have low level GCSE qualifications that are below the criteria for Level 1 and Level 2 Fashion. It is ideal if you need support and are interested in developing your all round Fashion and Textiles skills while continuing to study English and Maths.
What you need to get on
You must have 4 GCSEs at grades 1 - 9 (A - G) and have an interest in Art and Design. This must include a grade 1 or above in both GCSE English Language and Maths.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
What this level means
A supported starting point if exams have not gone well yet.
Is it open to 16 to 18 year olds?
Not on the Section 96 list, but a school or college runs it full time, so check the age range with them.
