This qualification prepares learners for further learning and training and develops a basic knowledge of childcare in early years settings and it considers childcare and development from birth�5 years 11 months.
What you need to get on
This qualification is aimed at a range of learners who are thinking of working in an Early Years setting including: young people mature learners parents volunteers learners with special educational needs or where English is an additional language.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A first step that builds towards Level 2.
