What the college says
If you want to work with children, the level 1 course is a good starting point for your career in Early Years. The course is designed to give you an insight into working with young children from birth up to the age of 5 years 11 months. It will support you in gaining both the knowledge and skills needed to care for young children, covering their growth, learning and development.
What you need to get on
You will need a grade 3 in English Language with 2 other GCSEs at a grade 2 or above including maths. You will also need a clear DBS.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A first step that builds towards Level 2.
