The digital world is rapidly changing, and so our Level 1 course in IT and Esports provides an opportunity for students to prepare their careers in the digital world and a professional office environment, by learning fundamental skills in IT, Media and Esports. By learning about the core applications used in modern working environments and the transferable skills used in the workplace, our students develop opportunities to gain immediate employment upon completion of the course. Our Level 1 IT and Esports course provides a firm starting point for anyone looking to join the digital industry, with a mix of practical and written tasks grounded in workplace scenarios.This programme is inclusive of studying maths and English, as well as work experience and the following topics: Being organised Developing a Personal Progression Plan Working with others Researching a topic Branding a product Contributing to running an event Designing an interactive presentation Developing digital information technologies Creating a website Playing a sport programme

What you need to get on

A minimum of four GCSEs at grade 2/F or above, including English or maths.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
