What you need to get on

This course is only available to 16-18 year olds. Three GCSEs at grade 3-9 including English Language and Maths OR Successful completion of a relevant Level 1 course. If you are not studying a traditional GCSE programme, we accept alternative qualifications like Functional Skills and vocational courses.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
