This study programme will provide you with specialist work-related qualifications in a range of areas, which will give you the knowledge, understanding and skills you will need to prepare for employment. The course will inspire and enthuse learners to become technology savvy – more able to be producers of technology products and systems, rather than just be consumers of them. You will learn using modern software packages, which include Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, elements of the Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, and Camtasia.
What you need to get on
Three GCSEs at Grade 3 including maths and/or English, or a Level 1 qualification plus maths and/or English at Level 1.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
