p These Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) courses cater for 16 25year olds with mild/ moderate learning difficulties behavioural or social needs. These courses are also suitable for people with emotional health concerns. /p p Students gain skills and confidence through activities such as external day trips and community volunteering. /p p Students will also have opportunities to try vocational taster sessions in areas such as catering construction and art and gain independent living skills such as travel training and using money. /p p Courses include literacy and numeracy as well as job search and employability skills. /p

What you need to get on

Individual applications will be reviewed for appropriate skills and readiness for each level but you should have achieved Entry Level 3 English and preferably have a positive work experience reference.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
