This course is designed to improve your leadership and management skills, making you more of an effective leader. This is a nationally recognised qualification so it's also the ideal launch pad for a future management career or any job with a supervisory role. It shows potential civilian employers that you have the right training and skills for the job. Content: Three mandatory units cover the core skills you need to lead a team. You’ll learn how to plan, allocate and monitor work; tools and techniques to develop yourself as a leader; and how to get the most from your team. You'll then cover optional units which will have been chosen to find the best fit for you. They cover everything from communication skills to business improvement techniques. By the end of the course you will have achieved: The core skills to lead a team successfully Motivation techniques to get the best from people The confidence to tackle difficult issues, like underperformance Tools to develop yourself as a leader
