The IB Visual Arts course is intended for self-motivated students who are seriously interested in the study of art. The course not only builds art-making skills and confidence but helps students to develop important analytical skills, divergent ways of thinking and creative problem-solving. Reflecting the IB emphasis on international-mindedness, students are encouraged to explore art from a wide range of contexts and practices, thus broadening understanding and appreciation for the diversity of creative and aesthetic expression.

GENERIC IB ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: 5 GCSE'S 4-9, including English Language SUBJECT SPECIFIC ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Grade 4 in English Lit or Lang, Grade 6 in Art or equivalent desirable
