History IB Standard
at Anglo European School, Ingatestone · school or sixth form
What the college says
You will develop an understanding of how people interact and what motivates them, why people, groups and rulers make decisions and the impact of those decisions. You will be encouraged to evaluate different types of evidence and debate its relevance and value, present an argument and make supported judgements. You will need to show a willingness to undertake wider reading and further study outside the classroom, visit libraries and consult different books about the topics that you are studying. Think about how perspectives and arguments differ. There are many useful websites available for different historical topics.
